Osmo Maintenance Oil is perfect for refreshing wooden floors oiled in Osmo. No need to sand and re-oil, just top up periodically with maintenance oil. Excellent coverage of between 40 and 60m2 per litre in a single coat.
Osmo Maintenance Oil is designed to professionally refresh wooden floors that have previously been finished with Osmo Polyx Oil. They are especially suited to floors with a particularly high footfall where regular routine cleaning and maintenance is required to cope with the expected wear and tear.
Based on natural vegetable oils, the maintenance oil is perfect for commercial applications such as in restaurants or commercial premises, shopping malls or even airports. The range features the following finishes to compliment the standard Osmo Polyx Oil finishes:
- 3081 Clear Satin
- 3098 Clear Semi-Matt
- 3079 Clear Matt
- 3440 White Transparent
The maintenance oil is designed to apply a thin top up coating of oil and so the coverage is excellent at 40-60m2 per litre in one coat. Drying time is also very fast at 3-4 hours, perfect for flooring installed in busy public spaces.

Osmo Maintenance Oil is extremely fast drying at 3-4 hours. It acts as a dual purpose cleaner and rejuvenator and can also be used to remove tough stains such as shoe polish and grease marks.
Perfect for use in high footfall commercial flooring areas, it is idea for occasional maintenance, cleaning the floors whilst bringing them back to life and leaving a fresh coating of oil to the surface without the need to sand the floor.

Application
The Osmo Maintenance Oil range is designed for trade professionals. For DIY or domestic use Osmo recommend Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner. Apply Osmo Maintenance Oil with a double blade scraper, microfibre roller or lint free cloth. Then buffer the oil with the Osmo Floorxcenter machine with a microfibre pad.
Never be tempted to use washing up liquid or other household cleaners to clean the floors as these will strip the oil from the floor. Always use Osmo wash and care for regular cleaning. Never over-apply Osmo maintenance oil as too much could leave oil sitting on top of the surface of the timber resulting in drying or marking problems.
