Osmo Polyx® Oil Rapid

Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid Clear provides a beautiful finish exactly the same as the Original Polyx Oil. The difference is the extra driers in the Rapid version halve the drying time to just four to five hours. This is particularly useful where two coats of Osmo need to be applied on the same day.

Osmo oils are produced from natural oils and waxes giving premium protection for wood flooring, furniture and other interior woodwork.

The Polyx Oil Rapid Quick Dry oils bring out the natural beauty of the wood, accentuating the natural grain and character and provide a warm rich tone that will compliment any interior design.

Coverage is approx 24m2 per litre with one coat and usually, two coats should be applied especially to wooden flooring.

Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid is fast drying, extremely durable, hardwearing and resistant to dirt, water cola, juice, wine, tea and coffee. It is also a breathable finish which won’t peel or crack and doesn’t need to be sanded before topping up with future applications of oil.

Quick Dry Osmo should be applied at the recommended application rate of 35ml per square metre. The second coat of Osmo Quick Dry Rapid 3232 or 3262 can be applied as soon as the first one is dry, however, if the first coat was an Osmo colour and the Rapid is being used as a top coat then it is recommended to wait approx. 24 hours before finishing with the second coat.

Use Osmo Wood Protector as a base coat or primer coat for extra water repellency in rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens.

For Osmo 3240 White, it is recommended to apply just one coat, followed by a clear coat. Alternatively for a more intensive colour, apply just two coats as a stand-alone finish.
