V4 Eiger wood flooring is an 18mm thick structural oak wood floor. Yielding all the benefits of an engineered wood floor, the Eiger range was born to offer an alternative to solid wood flooring.This produces a far more economic use of the raw oak lumber and enables beautiful oak flooring planks which can be installed on top of almost any sub floor including over joists and underfloor heating systems.
Giving the same solid feel as a solid oak, it features a 4mm top wear layer on top of a 14mm multi-ply base. The Eiger collection offers flooring that has been steel brushed to enhance the look and feel of the stunning solid oak surface.
Available in three finishes, you have the choice of UV cured oil, Brushed & oiled or Lacquered. These give the flooring a lovely natural charm giving an appearance of beauty and quality whilst being perfect for rooms that experience heavier footfall.
